About
Living at Rideau
WHY
Rideau?
Take a break from playing billiards in our fully-licensed Sky Lounge to catch a view of the North Shore mountains. Watch a movie in our home theatre and then enjoy a birthday dinner with family and friends in our private dining room. Catch up on your correspondence in our business centre, or curl up with a good book in our library or out in the garden.
Because we are owned and operated by a not-for-profit foundation and do not rely on public funds to operate, we can independently offer a wide variety of services, programs and amenities that will enhance your life and support the easy, healthy and independent lifestyle you want.
We are a small and nimble foundation, which allows us to work collaboratively with our residents. We host monthly town hall and other community meetings to gather feedback and help guide the services and activities we offer. We have resident representation on our Board, so that your voice can be heard regarding the management of Rideau while you are living here, as well as the future of the residence.
