We offer our Independent residents an all-inclusive package that includes:
- Private suites pre-wired for phone and television cable, plus basic cable and utilities
- Weekly housekeeping and laundry services and the provision of fresh linens and towels
- Two nutritious meals and a continental breakfast daily, with refreshments served throughout the day
- Wide selection of daily health and leisure activities
- 24-hour emergency response and security features
- Access to additional health services as your needs change

Our staff will work with you to develop a personal service plan that meets your unique needs, ensuring you have the support to continue to enjoy your independence. This includes:
- Assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing and personal care
- Medication dispensation and health monitoring
- 24/7 access to a supported Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and guest attendant
- Private suites pre-wired for phone and television cable, plus basic cable and utilities
- Weekly housekeeping and laundry services and the provision of fresh linens and towels
- Two nutritious meals and a continental breakfast daily, with refreshments served throughout the day
- Wide selection of daily health and leisure activities

- Escort services within the Residence and out for appointments (fee-based)

Rideau is pleased to offer a variety of short-term stay options to seniors in our community.

Safety Features
Security at Rideau includes controlled building access, security cameras at all entrances and exits, and visitor and resident sign-in/out logs. We retain 24-hour on-call security services, and our staff holds regular fire and earthquake drills. Each studio and suite is equipped with an easy-to-use, in-suite emergency call system that connects residents directly with our professional staff 24/7.
Suites are also equipped with pull cords in the living room and bathroom to alert the nursing station if activated. Non-slip floors and safety bars are installed in the private bathrooms in each studio and suite, as well as in all common bathrooms throughout the residence. In addition, all suites are built to code with smoke detectors and smoke alarms, which are serviced regularly.
